2025 Family Camp

The Family Camp committee is excited to announce the 2025 Camp Pastor:

JD VanValin!

John-David VanValin has been the pastor of The Springs Church in Cedar Springs, MI for almost two years. He and his wife, Brianna, previously served in Indianapolis at First Free Methodist Church for 11 years. They have four children: Liam (9), Micah (7), Colette (5), and Caroline (3).  JD was born in St. Louis, MO in 1986 and came to Durley Camp when he was very young because his father (Mark) and grandfather (Frank) were pastors at Lighthouse FMC and Greenville FMC respectively. In addition to loving Jesus, the Church, and his family, JD enjoys playing sports and music.  If anyone needs a 3-on-3 basketball tournament teammate during camp, let him know. Pastor JD is praying that you will hear from the Lord, grow in your love for Him, and do what He calls you to do.
