At Durley Camp, we believe in our mission of making Christian disciples through camp-centered activities. Our mission is not possible without our annual summer camp staff, who carry out the day-to-day operations at every Durley Youth Camp each summer.

We believe our camps provide youth with Christian experiences and surround them with Christian role models and leaders who will shape them into the next generation of church leaders.

Join our summer staff to join us in our ministry, which has been ongoing for over 150 years: to teach youth about Jesus at summer camp.

Durley’s Youth Camp Mission

The Durley Youth Camp Summer staff is a team of Christians who are committed to serving God and each other for one purpose:

To assist the local church in making disciples through camping initiatives where youth can experience the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ and are challenged to grow deeper in faith.

In order to accomplish this high calling, there must be a unity in purpose and agreement in method. We want you to be a part of this mission as together we can change the lives of over 450 campers.  With your help, we can accomplish the following goals and objectives for each camper:

    • Majors - an activity/class chosen by the camper

    • Evening Session - with our camp speaker

    • Night Games

    • Lights out

      Staff will report the evening before the camp begins and depart the campground the evening the camp ends.

    • Bible & Notebook/pen

    • Old clothes (including dark clothing for night games like Mission Impossible)

    • Sleeping Bag (or linens)

    • Towels & Washclothe

    • Tennis shoes & sandals

    • Water shoes (required)

    • One piece swimming suit

    • Toiletries

    • Flashlight

  • Durley Camp is the perfect summer camp job to give young adults a chance to engage in community and God’s word while instilling lifelong camp and Christian values in our campers through making memories that will alst a lifetime.

    Durley also is a great internship or practicum opportunity for those in media, worhips arts, education and more!
